The beach, A Teddy Bear, A Mohawk, Goop and Halloween

One of our Friends invited us to go to his beach house t. It was so beautiful. The weather was great and we had the most relaxing, yet fun times we have ever had! Here is just a FEW of the pictures that I took while I was out there.
Chasing one of the seagulls.
Watching the water come up to the rock.

That house right in front of the guys is the house... this is as far as we had to walk to get to the beach, it was soooo nice!
The best way to get around is to hitch a ride!
Jumping off the rocks!
The ground disappearing from under your feet.
Looking at sand I suppose! :)
Sweeping the beach.
Seth's Step mothers mother, Gabriel's Great Grandmother Phyllis Won this bear for Gabriel at her bingo game. She Was very excited about giving it to him. I got these great shots of him wrestling and hugging it!

Gabriel had just gotten out of the bath and he gave me this face.. and WHAT A FACE!!!!
He looks so much like Seth here!!!
Blake Finally made it to a pumpkin patch for the first time ever (I forgot my camera or there would be some of those in here) and she also got to carve her very first pumpkin. What a great job she did!
She wanted so badly to carve until she took a look inside and then I got this face! :)
Seth just Oh so happy! :) hahahaa

Mine, Seth's and Blakes!!!
What a great Halloween we had this year!!! We went to Tam's house. Pastor Steve, His wife Pam and their daughter Kirsten, Tim, Neece, Hayley, Hayden, Tod, Peg, Tommy, Andy, Paul and of coarse Tam where all there. It was so nice. We had Chili and corn bread with other really nice snacks. We got there late.. shame on us, and ran out the door not too long after we showed up. Went to so many houses. Blake made out with her bucket filled to the top! Gabriel didn't really know what was going on and was very happy after visiting the first house. He would have been just fine stopping there and going back in to eat his lollipop. However we continued but that didn't stop him from sucking that lollipop right down! Gabriel made for a very nice monkey and Blake was a beautiful Kimono Queen. However I didn't get but one picture of Blake as she was up with the rest of the kids knocking on doors. We stayed back including Gabriel as taking him up to every door slowed us WAY down, But Blake was such a good big sister and shared each time with Gabriel. I am so impressed with her! When all the tricks and treating were done we went back in and had nice conversation and then said our good byes. It was a great night! Thanks Tam for hosting, You do so much for us!!!

Happy after the first house!
Checking out what else he has in his bucket.
The only picure of Miss Blake the Kimono Queen.
Walking with Aunt Tam to a very well decorated house.
Hanging out with Neece. What a beautiful dead bride she makes!

Wedding+Flu= SOO SORRY

Seth and I tied the knot last Saturday Oct.25th 2008... And what a beautiful EVERYTHING!!! I thought that I would be bummed about not wearing a dress but when it came down to it I am glad I didn't spend money, I don't have on one. Amazingly we got a ton of things free...Photography, Flowers, table and chair covers, the church and the pastor... no wait OUR Pastor! Chelsea did my hair and only for the cost of hair die... OHHH it would have cost a LOT at a salon, she did a rockin' job on it too! My mom did get the food and my almost aunt like friend Judi Make the beautiful cake! My sister... OHHH my dear sister she is so very wonderful! She did so very very much as well as my God mother and sister in law, mother in law to be. My aunt did a great job with the flowers and my uncle and Brother did the photography. I am blessed to have such a helping family!

Now this is how it went down. Gabriel Got sick and started throwing up on Wednesday morning, got better but then once more on Thursday morning. I thought well he must be over it and we just can't cancel the wedding. So we decided that he must be over the contagious part... right? Well you know usually you’re contagious before you even know you have it. So I thought it will be okay. Seth and I felt fine. I had butterflies all day Friday when we where setting up but I just thought that’s all it is.

We went to bed early... Thankfully Seth took Friday off... The first time he's ever taken off. I woke up at 3am. OHHH how I was thinking... NOOO more sleep. My stomach hurt, but I just thought... Nerves... stupid nerves... GO BACK TO BED Tina!!!!! I think I slept for another hour and then that’s when I knew... I knew that I had to be sick... what the hey man... why??? Why now? I waited and waited to throw up... and finally it came. I felt good enough to go back to bed. I only slept for another hour on the couch... or rather love seat... yup not comfy. And then the phone calls started to ring in. UGH stupid phone... Though I would have welcomed the calls had I not been sick.

I then spent the better part of the morning in the bathroom waiting to throw up just to feel better. Finally I feel just barely good enough to put make up on. Got the family ready and then to the church. One exit from the chruch I remembered that I forgot the rings... UGH THE RINGS!!!! We did the rehearsal... which was easy and no biggy. Then Seth took off for the rings and made it back in time to get dressed. My sister in law did my hair... OHHH what a job... it took forever and I thank her for doing it... I am sure I would have given up after the fourth curl as I was not feeling well. God mother, Sister, God father, Judi where all buzzing around getting final touches done. I sat with a smug face... Not feeling good. I felt bad as I knew I wasn't making eye contact with any one and didn't want to hug, as I didn't want to get them sick. But really if you where in my shoes... wouldn't you have done the same thing? How do you postpone with little time to do so?!

So I suck it up and stood by Seth. I held on for dear life. I was nervous I would fall over in my silly heals. Our Pastor even read one of my favorite quotes out of the bible... I was so happy about that, I didn't know he was going to say either. He even makes a joke about how I wrote him and told him what NOT to say. :) We did it; we finally tied the knot and are now officially married. OHHH thank you Lord!

We took a ton of pictures and then made it down stairs and I made my rounds with my friends... Wishing I had more time with every one of them. Blake came to us saying that she didn't feel good but we thought she was just tiered and hungry. We signed our papers and then started to look around to see that many people had left and was starting to leave. So CAKE TIME... a dreaded part for me... as I didn't even take a look at the wonderful food spread as I didn’t even want to think about food at that point. Funny thing is that I thought about the cake moment in my head a million times... how was it going to go down? Was he going to be nice? I decided I didn't care... I wasn't going to be nice... it was cake time and everyone was going to see that he had a BIG bite! I shoved a bite in and got it everywhere! Regretting it afterwards as I saw the "OHHH your going to get it" in his eyes and I knew it was my turn! I opened my mouth knowing it was hardly going to make it in. Sure enough most of it went up my nose rather then in my mouth. It was by far one of the best cakes I've had! I am not sure if it was because I hadn't eaten all day or if it was because it was truly that good. I was just informed that there was some left over. I can't wait to taste again.

About an hour after we got down stairs we got word that Blake was laying on a couch not feeling well. I made my way past about fifteen or so kids playing… what fun it looked like. Seeing her on the couch wrapped up in one of the table cloths was one of the saddest things I think I've seen. She didn't feel good and I felt bad for not taking her more seriously. Seth followed soon after and then we decided it was time to go. He stayed with her while I packed the truck as fast as I could. Poor Blake ended up throwing up and that made for a very short good bye to everyone. Forgetting only the camera and a CD we did pretty well. As soon as we made it on to the high way poor Blake throw up, our luck we had a bag in her lap. We made it home and Blake continued to be ill all through the night.

Now Seth has stayed home on the following Monday because he finally caught it. UGH... what have we done? Did we really just have everyone come out too see us and catch the flu? We feel just terrible about it! I can't believe out of all the months, weeks and days of the year we happened to have gotten the flu right then. I TELL YOU WHAT... someday I will have my honey moon... and I am NOT going to be sick for it... I will do whatever I can to MAKE SURE OF IT!!! If you are one of the people that made it to the wedding and have gotten or might get sick... I AM SOOOO SOOOOOOOO SORRY!!!!

The News

The time has come for Seth and I to unite as a whole family. We talked about it for a couple of months now and set a date (Oct. 25 2008) about a month ago. However, Seth's brother is getting married Sept. 14Th and we don't want to steal any thunder, so we are keeping the word to a minimum until after their wedding.

My dear wonderful sister, who is helping me at every turn came over last night and we made a sample invitation. I can't wait to get them out in the mail to ya' all! Our colors are black, white and a splash of orange. Super casual. For the wedding party, black pants and white polo shirts and my shirt is has some neat embroidery on it.

I think the wedding party is going to be Seth and I of coarse, Tam and maybe Seth's dad. I haven't made him pin down whom he is going to have yet. I am hoping we will have Blake that weekend and Gabriel will some how be in there!

We are having the wedding and reception at my church. My pastor (Pastor Steve) is going to wed us. I am lucky to have had him baptize my sister, brother, niece, nephews, myself and soon Gabriel. I think Pastor Steve will do a great job of delivering Gods word to bring us together as a whole family on that day!

The theme is kind of like a "Harvest Blessing". Since we don't have a ton of money and already are a family we are wanting it to be casual get together with family and friends. I can't wait!

I told my Mom and Grandmother yesterday about it and they seemed to be happy. I've told just a few of my friends and can't wait to let the word out to Seth's family.
